Snoop Dogg and Pharrell are collaborating on a new album
Snoop Dogg and Pharrell are teaming up again, and this time the duo will be collaborating on Snoop Dogg’s next album.
Snoop’s new album will be entirely produced by Pharrell, and he promises that it’s going to be something new and fresh for the rapper. They will be venturing away from the duo’s previous work together, including the hit songs “Beautiful” and “Drop it Like it’s Hot.”
Speaking to MTV News, Snoop said “It’s a great record me and Pharrell did from top to bottom. It feels good and I’m happy to be back in the studio working with one of my favorite producers and homeboys. It’s different. It’s completely different than anything we’ve ever done. It feels good, sounds good, looks good.”
Snoop first hinted at a new album with Pharrell last year and the famous producer spoke on his work with the rapper earlier this summer, saying “You're gonna bug out from the approach of what we did. We're almost done. The songs are done. Now I'm just adding the finishing touches. But dude. Snoop's album is better than mine,” reports Vibe magazine.
There is no word on what the title of the album will be or when it will be released, but aside from being fully produced by Pharrell, the album will also include features from Charlie Wilson and Stevie Wonder.
