The baggies winger has come out to confirm the stories going round about his departure from the Hawthorns after his contact expires this summer.

The Nigerian winger tweeted "Thank you to all the @WBAFCofficial fans for the support during my time at the club! I wish you all the best for the future. God bless "

The 28 year old has endured a terrible spell at West Bromwich Albion since he was signed from Everton in September 2013.

He played 63 times for West Bromwich Albion, scoring nine goals.

He has started just three Premier League games this season.

He failed to register a goal in this campaign after appearing in 14 matches in all competitions for West Bromwich Albion.
