TuFace’s “The Ascension” debuts at No 12 on Billboard Chart

The album was released on July 21.
The latest and 6th album of Nigerian pop star, Tuface Idibia, The Ascension, was on Thursday listed on the BillBoard charts.
The album which was released by the 960 Music Group on July 21, was debuted at no. 12 under the World Albums category.
According to BillBoard, Chart positions are usually determined based on key fan interactions with music, including album sales and downloads, track downloads, radio airplay and touring, as well as streaming and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, Vevo, YouTube, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music.

The inclusion of The Ascension on the charts is regarded as an indication of the general success of the album, not only in Nigeria, but across the continent and the entire globe.
Tuface announced the news on his social media accounts, thanking his fans around the world for their support.
Tuface released his first solo album, Face 2 Face, in 2004 following the breakup of the group that brought him to the limelight, the Plantashun Boyz.
In 2006, he released Grass 2 Grace, his second and last album with record label, Kennis Music; and in 2008, he released The Unstoppable under his Hypertek imprint.
The Unstoppable International Edition and Away & Beyond album followed in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
