Good times are here again for Hip hop artist, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, otherwise known as Vector, if words coming from the singer’s camp are anything to go by. The singer has been battling to save his music career for more than a year following a breach of contract with YEG Entertainmet, his former record label.
It will be recalled that YSG Entertainment  had obtained a Court injucntion restraining Vector from recording, releasing or distributing of any song or musical work since January 31st 2014.
At a time when some of his colleagues were raking mouth-watering endorsement deals from telecommunications giant, Vector the Viper as he’s fondly called had been busy slugging it out with his record label and working silently on how to get his career back on track.
Vector started having issues with the label in 2012, with sources saying the rapper felt the label was not going in the right direction with his brand and promotion hence his decision to start looking for a way out of the label.

R gathered that Vector had  informed his owners about his discomfort and threatened to pull out of the deal if nothing was done. He was said to have been told to honour the terms of the contract he signed which would expire in 2017. He was also told to exercise patience while some of the issues he raised were resolved.
Speaking with R during a telephone conversation about the new development, the rapper said he could not be more happy now that the two parties have decided to settle the case amicably. “I am happy now that the issue has been resolved amicably and that I can now pursue my career the way I want. Things have been rough for sometime but I have remained strong and now I feel I could concentrate better.”
Asked what he has lost while the issue lasted, Vector said he would rather want to talk about what he plans to gain now that he is free. You know what I could have lost. I don’t want to dwell on that now. I am working on my new album. A-14 track album would be released in few days”,he said.
