Luke Shaw to complete Manchester United switch soon

Shaw is set to head to Old Trafford
Manchester United will complete their £27 million raid for Southampton full-back Luke Shaw in the next few days say the Daily Mail.
The talented 18-year-old enjoyed a sublime Premier League season, helping the Saints to their joint-highest Premier League finish and a record points tally.
Unfortunately for the south coast club, their success has attracted the interest of some of the biggest clubs in the league, and with manager Mauricio Pochettino already gone to take charge at Tottenham, a host of his former players could follow him out the door.

That includes Shaw, who is on his way to Manchester United if reports are to be believed.
The Red Devils are said to have had a £27 million offer for the left-back turned down last month, but appear to be working their way towards getting the deal done.
The Mail say that the deal will go through in the 'next few days' - and that could spark the start of a major spending splurge.
The newspaper claim that new Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal will be handed a huge £220 million to spend once he takes charge.
That could mean the likes of Kevin Strootman and Mats Hummels arriving at Old Trafford.
The problem for Manchester United however is Van Gaal's commitment to the Dutch national team. If his team make it to the final of the World Cup he won't be able to focus his efforts on restructuring the Red Devils' squad until mid-July.
That means executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, who came in for criticism over Manchester United's approach to the transfer market last year, is likely to be charged with wrapping up the deals to make the club a force once more
