Nigeria: Lagos to Close Two Bridges for Repair
Lagos — The Lagos State government has
announced plans to close two overhead bridges along Masha Road in the
city centre from this weekend till end of the month.
A statement by state Ministry of Transport, said the closure is to enable the state carry out rehabilitation work on the bridges.
The statement which was signed by the Commissioner for Transportation, Kayode Opeifa, said vehicular movement on both sides of the Alhaji Masha Road would be restricted during the exercise.
The commissioner advised motorists and other road users to use alternative routes.
